Amazing 11 Minute Super Mario Music Video!

WOW! Here is an example of some real creativity... or real insanity! What looks like custom made Super Mario levels from the Nintendo 8 bit console put in sync with some Japanese techno music. This video is about 11 minutes long!!! That's a lot of Mario, even for me. Some serious time was put into making this and definitely deserves a look by any Mario fan!

Check out the video here.

Wii Fit Sponsors Car at Indy 500!

Nintendo has sponsored an indycar for the 92nd Indianapolis 500 this year. The #16 car was driven by Alex Lloyd from Manchester England. Unfortunately, Alex's car bounced off the outside wall, then scurried into the pits taking out a few rubber cones. Most of the pit crews moved quite fast when seeing a sliding out of control indycar coming toward them, looks like they've been using the Wii Fit! Alex finished 25th overall.

Mario Kart Should Be Rated For Adults!

Mario Kart Should Be Rated For Adults!

The following article says it all. Posted in a British newspaper by Matthew Higgins of Birmingham, England.

"Mario Is A Menace: I disagree with your correspondents who argue that computer games are not the sole cause of today's violence problems. Just the other day after playing Mario Kart, I bought some bananas and while driving home I started to throw the skins at passing cars in an attempt to make them spin out of control. I can't help but think that if Mario Kart had been awarded an 18 certificate, I may have thought twice before behaving in such an immature and dangerous manner. Matthew Higgins Birmingham"

Next Generation Motion Controller For All Consoles Plus PC?

Companies Motus and Gyration are rumored to be working on a next generation motion controller similar to the Nintendo's Wii controller. It's also rumored to work with PS3, Wii, XBOX 360 and PC. Motus currently has a controller called "Darwin" (pictured), but they deny working with Microsoft on a new controller rumored to be called "Newton". Will the future (or the next big thing) of gaming be all motion sensitive?
